CAPMAC INDUSTRY has solved the need to assemble metal components with plastic items in different applications using several rivet types. In this case, a riveting station completes a pallet line and automatically assembles 3 plastic clamps to a car condenser. Joining uses 6 pop rivets.

A rotating table with 12 stations has been implemented to assemble a brake tablet spring clip automatically. This unit assembles one rivet, a spring and a closing washer. The difficulty in this is managing to combine narrow assemble tolerances with large size variations in components to be assembled.
